Survivors Steering Committee – WTC Environmental Health Center

Survivors Steering Committee

The WTC Environmental Health Center works closely with a special WTC Survivors Steering Committee to ensure its responsiveness to the needs of the people affected by the health impact of 9/11. Members include representatives of community-based organizations, advocacy organizations, and labor groups that serve this population, as well as individuals and WTC EHC patients who were exposed to environmental contaminants released as a result of the attack on the WTC. Currently, there are more than 19 members, including the organizations listed below.

It is the goal of the WTC Survivors Steering Committee to draw on the expertise and experiences of its members to advise the WTC Environmental Health Center on providing comprehensive, quality medical care at no cost to affected persons. The organization also furthers widespread dialogue and investigation into the health impacts of 9/11.
