- Increase access to pertinent health services for Elmhurst’s patient population
What We Do
Through collaborative research and education activities, the Global Health Institute creates opportunities for U.S. health care providers to share best practices with international colleagues and develop more effective responses to global health and disease trends.
From HIV/AIDS to diabetes, we engage in international research projects on the effects of both chronic and infectious diseases on underserved communities and the innovative approaches that can improve care delivery across the world.
We also organize and sponsor health summits, conferences, speaking engagements, and community events designed to raise awareness around today’s global health issues.
