Complex Family Planning
Complex Family Planning (CFP) Services at Health and Hospitals is a network of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, midwives and nurses that are here to provide you with personalized reproductive health services. We offer evidence based compassionate care to help you achieve your reproductive life goals. Our network of physicians includes subspeciality trained providers that offer services listed below.
- Birth Control Services
- Nonhormonal and hormonal contraception
- Emergency Contraception (including Plan B, Ella and IUD insertion)
- IUD placement and removal
- Multiple pain control options for IUD insertion
- Removal complicated by malposition or missing strings
- Ultrasound guided insertion when indicated
- Nexplanon placement and removal including deep removal
- Sterilization consultation and care (salpingectomy) and referral (vasectomy)
- Counseling and provision of options for patients with complex medical conditions
- Hormonal methods to treat chronic pelvic pain or abnormal uterine bleeding
- Pregnancy testing with referral to prenatal care, adoption or abortion services
- Miscarriage Care
- Early pregnancy loss support and management including expectant management, medication and procedural options
- Recurrent pregnancy loss work-up and care
- Pregnancy of unknown location and ectopic: work-up and care including cervical and cesarean ectopic
- Abortion Care:
- Medication abortion
- Procedural abortion
- Fetal Asystole for abortion care
- Multiple options for sedation
