Zulay Roman is a board-certified Ambulatory Care Nurse and the lead bariatric nurse at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull Bariatric Center of Excellence. Since joining the bariatric team in 2021, she has specialized in metabolic and bariatric surgery, focusing on preoperative and postoperative management, patient education, and long-term support. Zulay also brings multi-specialty outpatient experience, enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive care across diverse clinical settings. As a bilingual nurse fluent in English and Spanish, she is committed to delivering personalized, culturally competent care to Woodhull’s diverse patient population.
