Why am I receiving two different bills?
Your care at NYC Health + Hospitals may result in a facility/hospital bill and a separate bill from the physician for professional or specialty related services.
Facility/Hospital Bill
The hospital bill consists of services related to the facility for the care that you received. The hospital bill may include the procedure, diagnostic services, supplies, equipment and/or room charges used during your stay.
(This is known as the technical or facility bill).
