Why am I receiving two different bills?

Your care at NYC Health + Hospitals may result in a facility/hospital bill and a separate bill from the physician for professional or specialty related services.

Physician Bill

The physician bill you receive varies based on the facility where your services were provided. If you receive a bill from one of these providers, please contact a customer service representative at one of the numbers listed below for assistance.

Facility/Hospital Bill

The hospital bill consists of services related to the facility for the care that you received. The hospital bill may include the procedure, diagnostic services, supplies, equipment and/or room charges used during your stay.
