As revelers ushered in 2014 in Times Square, a family welcomed a new baby girl shortly after midnight at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, part of the New York.

Elmhurst Hospital Center (EHC) has received the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant® (IBCLC®) Care Award for its implementation of skin-to-skin contact.

On Thursday, December 12th, physicians, hospital administrators, transportation and traffic safety experts and community activists will gather at Elmhurst Hospital Center (EHC) for a citywide pedestrian injury summit.
