The NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a vital link between the hospital and southern Brooklyn communities served by NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health.
Mission
To forge an essential partnership with patients, hospital staff and community organizations. These partnerships will enable NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health to provide the best health care available for the physical, mental, and social well-being of the people it serves. The Community Advisory Board holds monthly meetings that are open to the public.
Who are the members?
Members of the Community Advisory Board are selected by the NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health Executive Director, the Brooklyn Borough President, and the Brooklyn Community Planning Boards.
