Research from Epic has shown that patients are seven times more likely to respond to text messages than emails, which makes SMS an effective tool for time-sensitive communications such as bill payments.
Key Feature of Hello World Balance Updates and New Statements:
- Self-Service Options: Patients can take actions like making payments, setting up payment plans, or applying for financial assistance through a link sent via SMS, which directs them to MyChart. This service is available for both MyChart and non-MyChart patients.
