Application Information
We only accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) only. We do not accept applications or supplemental materials that are mailed, emailed, or faxed to our office. The application deadline is the last Friday in October. Given the unique circumstances of this application year, all interviews will be virtual.

Application Criteria
- Medical school graduation date must be within three years of application date
- USMLE Step 1 scores must be submitted with your application
- A passing USMLE Step 2 CK must be posted in ERAS prior to the NRMP rank list submission deadline
- We require that all USMLE steps are passed on the first attempt due to the highly competitive nature of our program
- A minimum of 2 letters of recommendation, plus a chairperson’s letter of recommendation, for a total minimum of 3 letters, and maximum of 4 letters
- International applicants:
- Our program sponsors both H1-B and J-1 visas
- Recent US clinical experience is strongly recommended (this does not include observerships or research)
- Applicants may apply if ECFMG certification is pending, but must be fully ECFMG certified prior to the NRMP rank list submission deadline
For the 2023 ERAS cycle, our program will strongly encourage all applicants to complete a supplemental ERAS application, offered through the AAMC’s ERAS program. Applicants also will be required to complete the MyERAS application.
The additional information will help our program staff learn more about applicants’ medical education journey, including more meaningful information about work, volunteer, and research experiences, and help us better identify applicants who fit our program environment and mission.
Interview Details
The first round of interview invitations will be extended during the last week of October and first week of November.
We will continue to review ERAS applications and offer interviews as availability allows for those not chosen for first/second round interviews and those who were not declined an interview.
