Community Advisory Board

NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx has an active Community Advisory Board (CAB) of dedicated community volunteers who reach out to get the views of the community and represent them in the hospital’s decision-making process. They also inform the community about the goals and objectives of the hospital and its health centers.

The CAB office can be reached by calling 646-816-5180, or by mail at:

Rob Seitz, Chair of the Community Advisory Board (CAB) at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx, is a lifelong advocate for public service and civic engagement. A longtime “serial volunteer” and leader in Westchester County, Rob continued his civic engagement after relocating to the Bronx, where he now resides in Woodlawn. His involvement with the CAB began in 2023, sparked by a desire to stay engaged and a deep appreciation for the NYC Health + Hospitals system—especially after a personal experience at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi’s Emergency Room.

With over 30 years in public relations and 20+ years in commercial real estate, Rob leverages his expertise in communications, outreach, and strategic planning to amplify the hospital’s mission.

From college leadership to serving as a volunteer firefighter, Rob’s service spans generations and disciplines. Guided by his personal mantra—P.U.S.H. (Persevere Until Success Happens)— Rob is passionate about amplifying the voices of hospital staff and ensuring all New Yorkers know they have access to compassionate, high-quality care.
