*Call 844-692-4692 to make a payment using our 24/7-Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system any time of the day or by speaking with one of our live Billing Inquiry Advisors, Monday – Friday, 9 A.M. – 5 P.M.
*Mail in your payment using the tear off slip attached to your statement
*Pay in person at any NYC Health + Hospitals facility
We understand sometimes patients have difficulty affording their medical bills. You can contact a Billing Inquiry Advisor at 844-692-4692, to assist you with setting up a payment plan. You can also log in to your MyChart account portal or app to set up a payment plan on your own.
Medical expenses paid by credit card become credit card debt and are not considered medical debt. Credit card companies are not required to comply with the following federal and state protections around medical debt: prohibitions against wage garnishment and property liens, prohibitions against reporting medical debt to credit bureaus and limitations on interest rates. By paying with a credit card, you acknowledge that you understand the above. This does not apply to payments made by debit cards and prepaid cards.
