Family Planning Services

NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem Family Planning Clinic (funded by NYSDOH) provides family planning and reproductive health services to all people, regardless of income or insurance status.

The Family Planning Clinic offers telehealth video visits to increase accessibility, remove the barrier of in-person visits and increase convenience for our patients.

Family Planning Telehealth Video Visits help patients to:

  • Initiate contraceptive care with consultation and counseling prior to in-person care
  • Receive prescription for oral emergency contraception including Plan B and Ella
  • Receive prescriptions for birth control pills, patch, ring, diaphragm, etc.
  • Obtain counseling and education about all contraceptive options including non-hormonal options like natural family planning
  • Receive Pre-pregnancy counseling 

Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program

NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program provides comprehensive family planning services for teens up to 21 years of age, including women, men, LGBTQ+ young persons.

We provide confidential services to adolescents in need of reproductive and sexual health services. In-person and Telehealth visits by phone or video are available by appointment and some walk-in services are available.

  • GYN Exam
  • Birth Control
  • Pregnancy Testing
  • STD Screening & Treatment
  • HIV Testing & Referral
  • Contraceptive Counseling/Education
  • Referrals for other health services
  • Health Insurance Enrollment
