Group 12 unionized employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical insurance, and dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
For most Group 12 positions, a union provides vision, dental, and prescription coverage once you’re enrolled. To access these benefits, contact your union directly.
If your union does not offer prescription coverage, you can choose to add an optional prescription rider for an additional per-paycheck cost.
You have 30 days from your start date to enroll in medical coverage through PeopleSoft HR.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Flexible Spending Account is a pre-tax savings program that allows you to put money aside for medical expenses not covered by insurance. Any money not spent by the end of the year is not recoupable in the next year.
