Tejpreet (TJ) Singh, DO
Tejpreet (TJ) Singh, DO is a 2025-2026 NYC Health + Hospitals Clinical Leadership Fellow in the Office of Quality & Safety. He will conduct his clinical practice as a primary care provider at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Dr. Singh completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Jacobi/Montefiore Emergency Medicine Residency Program, during which he was Chief Resident.
Before beginning his fellowship, Dr. Singh founded the SEVA-ECHO Clinic in July 2015. Through his leadership, the clinic facilitated initial access to healthcare for underserved populations in Queens, offering free primary care services, transportation, and medications to undocumented immigrants. He also organized monthly medical health camps in collaboration with the ECHO free clinic, ensuring continued care for vulnerable communities.
Dr. Singh earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from SUNY Old Westbury.
Elizabeth Batista, MD
Elizabeth Batista, MD, is a 2025-2026 NYC Health + Hospitals Clinical Leadership Fellow in the Office of Ambulatory Care. She will conduct her clinical practice as a primary care provider at NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens. Dr. Batista completed her residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she was Chief Resident.
Prior to Clinical Leadership Fellowship, Dr. Batista gained clinical experience providing inpatient care to children at Kravis Children’s Hospital and adults at Mount Sinai and NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst. She also served as a primary care provider to children and adults at a federally qualified health center in East Harlem and provided home-based care for medically and socially complex patients of all ages. Dr. Batista has also provided incarceration care at the Rikers Island Medical Clinic and at the Complex Care Clinic at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Batista earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. She holds a Master of Biomedical Science from Rutgers University, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Barnard College, Columbia University.
Neha Sikka, MD
Neha Sikka, MD is a 2025-2026 NYC Health + Hospitals Clinical Leadership Fellow at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. She will conduct her clinical practice in emergency medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. Dr. Sikka completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she was a Chief Resident and specialized in the health justice track.
Dr. Sikka was a Resident Quality Review Group Leader for intubations and a Resident Lead for the Pediatric Quicklist Quality Improvement Project in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Additionally, she served as a Resident Quality Reviewer for 72-hour returns, mortalities, and sedation since 2021. Her work spans across Mount Sinai Hospital and NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where she was actively involved in the Clinical Quality Review Committee.
Dr. Sikka earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Health and Society from Rutgers University. Her passion for healthcare leadership, quality improvement, and health justice shapes her approach to patient care and advocacy.
Oliwia Opacka, MD
Oliwia Opacka, MD is a 2025-2026 NYC Health + Hospitals Clinical Leadership Fellow in the Office of Ambulatory Care. She will conduct her clinical practice as a pediatrician at NYC Health + Hospital/Woodhull. Dr. Opacka completed her residency in the Pediatric Residency Program at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where she gained extensive experience working in pediatric inpatient and outpatient units at four large urban hospitals: University Hospital at Downstate, Kings County Hospital, South Brooklyn Hospital, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Opacka was involved in teaching students and residents during daily Pediatric Conferences and contributed to quality improvement projects, including increasing depression screening among adolescents during inpatient admission and decreasing no-show rates in outpatient subspecialty clinics. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the GME Wellness Committee, and the Advocacy Committee, and is a GME Wellness Grant Scholar.
Dr. Opacka earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of Warsaw in Poland. She is currently pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Public Health at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
Stella Yun, MD
Stella Yun, MD is a 2025-2026 NYC Health + Hospitals Clinical Leadership Fellow in the Office of Medical & Professional Affairs. She will conduct her clinical practice as an emergency medicine physician at NYC Health + Hospital/Queens. Dr. Yun completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Metropolitan-Harlem Emergency Medicine, where she served as f Academic Chief Resident for the 2024-2025 academic year.
In her leadership position, Dr. Yun developed and implemented educational curricula for emergency medicine residents, acting as a liaison between residents, faculty, hospital leadership, and administration. Dr. Yun supported the mentoring of junior residents in research opportunities, medical knowledge, and clinical skills both on shift and during didactics. Additionally, Dr. Yun facilitated and led weekly didactic conferences, including case presentations, morbidity & mortality discussions, journal clubs, and joint conferences with various specialties.
Dr. Yun earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeastern University.
Yalini Pathmakumar, MD
Yalini Pathmakumar, MD is a 2025-2026 NYC Health + Hospitals Clinical Leadership Fellow in the Office of Quality and Safety. She will conduct her clinical practice as an emergency medicine physician at NYC Health + Hospital/Harlem. Dr. Pathmakumar completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.
Dr. Pathmakumar is committed to empowering patients through health education and passing down knowledge to the next generation of physicians. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in September 2020. Dr. Pathmakumar conducted research focused on the quality improvement of increasing interpreter services usage in the Emergency Department.
Dr. Pathmakumar earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the NSU Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Health, and Society from Cornell University.
Adjoa Mante, DO
Adjoa Mante, DO is a 2025-2026 NYC Health + Hospitals Clinical Leadership Fellow in the Office of Population Health. She will conduct her clinical practice as an emergency medicine physician at NYC Health + Hospital/Tremont. Dr. Mante completed her residency in Family Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Dr. Mante has co-led several quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, including improving no-show rates and increasing mammogram completion rates. She has developed a specialized area of concentration in palliative care and integrative medicine. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mante is committed to education and mentorship, teaching medical students and first-year residents in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Dr. Mante earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Perelman School of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. She holders a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Princeton University
