Over the last 10 years, Carter has met the needs of more than 1,000 medically complex New Yorkers who require specialized therapeutic support, rehabilitation, and other post-acute care services to improve their quality of life.

The program provides patients the tools to make healthy lifestyle changes, including access to plant-based diet resources and one-on-one counseling.

Almost 100 patients walked the runway to celebrate their improved physical health after a rigorous program that includes medical, psychiatric and nutritional screening prior to surgery.
