NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue is designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, which means we work to provide all our stroke patients with the highest level of care and satisfaction.
The Stroke Center team includes doctors, nurses, advanced practice providers, students, physical, occupational and speech therapy staff, and ancillary and supportive staff who provide care and guidance to all patients.
The Stroke Center works collaboratively with several hospital departments and services including, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Radiology Rehabilitation Medicine, Nursing, Social Work, Case Management, Pharmacy and Nutrition.
