The NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a vital link between the hospital and the communities served by it.
What is the CAB’s mission?
To forge an essential partnership with patients, hospital staff, and community organizations. These partnerships will enable NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue to provide the best health care available for the physical, mental, and social well-being of the people it serves. The CAB holds monthly meetings that are open to the public.

- Consumers (majority of members)
- Community representatives
- Community planning boards
- Non-managerial employee
How are CAB members selected?
Members are selected by NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue’s Chief Executive Officer, the Manhattan Borough President, and the Manhattan Community Planning Boards #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
