The 20 Auxiliaries that support NYC Health + Hospitals are made up of over 300 extraordinary volunteers dedicated to making a difference in the community. Each of the Auxiliaries is its own distinct tax-exempt legal entity, incorporated for the purpose of supporting a specific NYC Health + Hospitals facility. The Auxiliaries have a long history of working as volunteers and ambassadors of our hospitals and long term facilities, and raise valuable funds to expand and improve services — such as preventive care programming and new medical equipment. Many patient services would not be possible without the support of the Auxiliaries. NYC Health + Hospitals is grateful for the community members who actively support us each year.
